Rain always has its advantages. One, the streets get a good clean up from all the dirt and trashes people just throw away. Two, everybody can hang out inside their houses and watch TV or do some house chores! (as if!) Importantly, staying inside can create bond among people. People tend to communicate face to face, in which, these days, doesn’t happen very often. So, what activities can people do during that rainy night?
Usually, people start texting each other how it sucks that it’s raining outside. And that all plans are going to be crushed. The next thing that’s going to happen is performing plan “B”. Everybody is stuck inside so better do some activities home style.As much as technology has really helped as in a lot of ways, the thing is, nothing beats personal communication.
One could always try and play the twister game! It’s fun and everybody gets to bend those parts of your body you think you haven’t used before!
For some people, cooking is also a good way to spend away the hours inside the house. You could pretend to be in master chef and have a cook off amongst friends! That would really be excitingespecially if none of your friends don’t know how to cook! But then again, it would really be dangerous if none of you knows how to use the utensils in the kitchen! One should really be careful with this activity.
If you don’t want to move at all, one could always watch TV. Play those favorite reruns you have saved on your tivo or simply plug the dvd player and play the best horror or action movie you have rented out and forgot to return. Hey, better to watch it again and pay the fine than watching it just once! But the best way to take your mind off that rain is by playing video games. Of course it would not be that fun if you are playing all alone.
Some play the serious game. Poker. Well, most men enjoy this and it is a very enjoyable game, but it requires money since it is a betting game. But who does not like spending time with those freak friends, drinking beer while talking about women and puffing cigarettes while doing all those things? That is what we call multi-tasking.
Others just prefer to catch up and simply talk. Drink some coffee, eat some cookies and chat the hours away. It is nice to have conversations with good friends and try to update each other activities. Well, most women really like this activity and at some point, it becomes therapeutic.
However, it is always the best to have fun outside.
